Welcome to Premier Passing Academy

The Premier Passing Academy will teach quarterbacks and receivers of all ages the fundamentals of their position. Each academy member will work with experienced and successful coaches who specialize in the training of quarterbacks and receivers. The purpose is to build upon the fundamentals of playing QB/WR.

Camp Information

Athletes able to attend:
7-12th graders: June 5th, 6th, 7th - 8:30am-11:30 am
K-6th graders: June 8th, 9th - 8:30am-11:30 am

What to bring:
Quarterbacks are encouraged to bring their own football.
Bring football cleats.

Composed of the top Head Coaches and Offensive Coordinators from around the state of Texas.
Also included will be current and former college coaches and QB/WR playing in college. Academy Director is Clayton George, Head Football Coach Tyler Lee HS and former Offensive Coordinator, Southlake Carroll High School, 8 Time State Champions

Skills Taught:
QB-Stance, Footwork, Sprint-out, Read Progression, Defensive Recognition, Leadership Training,
Fundamental drills for quarterbacks.
WR- Stance, Start, Releases, Catching Technique, Fundamental Drills, Footwork, Route Technique.

Coach Clayton George



Clayton George has nearly two decades of experience as a highly successful high school and college football coach and is widely recognized as one of the leading quarterback coaches and offensive coordinators in Texas high school football. Coach George was the Offensive Coordinator at Carroll High in Southlake for five years. Previously, Coach George served as head coach at Haltom High School and Hillcrest High School before joining Coach Todd Dodge at the University of North Texas in the spring of 2007. Prior to that he coached with Coach Dodge at Carroll where he served as Offensive Coordinator. He has coached two Class 5A State Championship teams at Carroll, including the undefeated 2002 Texas Class 5A, Division II state champions and the undefeated 2011 Class 5A, Division I champions and he has coached a number of elite high school, college and NFL players. He was a heralded college player at North Texas where he was a 3 year starter at wide receiver (1991-1993) and was selected to the All Southland Conference Team in 1992-1993. Coach George is married to Angie, who is an assistant principal. They have five children, Chloe, Claire, Carlee, Cade and Chandler.

Coach Kyle Story



Coach Kyle Story is the Head Football Coach at Frisco Independence High School. He has been a head football coach for 18 years of his 29 year career, and has been named District Coach of the Year 8 times. He has had the opportunity to coach playoff teams at Frisco Independence, Decatur, Colleyville Heritage, and Denison. Most importantly Coach Story loves to encourage players to achieve their highest potential athletically and personally.

Jeff Rayburn



Coach Jeff Rayburn is the Head Football Coach at Lone Star High School. Over the past 4 years his teams have gone 39-12 winning 8 playoff games and playing in the 5A DII State Championship in 2015. During those 4 years he has been named National Football Foundation Gridiron Coach of the Year, Dallas Cowboys Coach of the Year, Dallas Morning News Coach of the Year and Collin County Coach of the Year and Whataburger Coach of the week two times. Coach Rayburn has a passion for kids to succeed on and off the field.
